Getting Started

Volunteer Roles
Pack 159 is run by volunteers, and each scout's family is expected to fill a volunteer role for the 2023-2024 scouting year. Use this form to choose your role.

Scoutbook
Within a week of registering your scout, you should receive an email invitation to join Scoutbook. Log in so you can see the official calendars, receive communication from the pack, and track your scout’s advancement.

Calendars
Sync the Scoutbook calendars with Google Calendar or iOS Calendar.

Facebook
Join the Pack 159 Facebook group to view and share photos and connect with other Pack 159 families.

Medical Forms
Before the first campout or overnight rank trip, complete a medical form for each youth and adult attending. (Save the completed form so you can easily update it each year.) Print it and give it to your den leader.

Youth Protection Training
After you get access to Scoutbook, log in and complete the one-hour online Youth Protection Training course. Once completed, save the certificate, print a copy, and bring it to all campouts and overnight rank trips. All adults attending overnight trips are required to submit their YPT certificate. The online system can be quirky, so complete the training early – don’t wait until the week you need your certificate.

Uniforms
Scouts wear Class A uniforms to Pack meetings and other events that include a flag ceremony. Scouts wear Class B uniforms (Pack t-shirts) to den meetings and other hands-on activities. Find more information here.
